CBC’s TNVR campaign achieves major success in promoting animal welfare

Karachi: The Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC), in collaboration with the Karachi Animal Health Unit (KAHU) and the Clifton Animal Rescue Foundation (CARF), has successfully carried out a Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR) campaign across DHA and Clifton areas, marking a significant achievement in the management of stray animal populations and the promotion of animal welfare.

Under the guidance and supervision of Chief Executive Officer Mr. Muhammad Omar Farooq Ali Malik, the CBC-led initiative focused on humane and sustainable methods to control the stray animal population. Through these campaigns, a large number of animals were: Trapped safely, spayed/neutered to prevent overpopulation,
vaccinated against infectious diseases and returned to their original communities.

This compassionate approach not only helps reduce the number of stray animals over time but also contributes to creating a safer, healthier, and more harmonious environment for both humans and animals.
