CBC players awarded trophies and medals after outstanding performance at Karachi Region Sports Competition
Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) was awarded trophies and medals following its outstanding performance at the Karachi Region Sports Competition.
A dignified prize distribution ceremony was held at Malir Cantonment’s MLC Club. Director Karachi Region, Military Lands & Cantonments (ML&C) Department, Tanveer Ashraf, was the chief guest. CBC CEO Mohammad Omar Farooq Ali Malik, CBC Additional CEO Samina Shabbir, MEO Karachi Arfa Waheed, Cantonment Board Faisal (CBF) CEO Haider Ali Sial, Cantonment Board Malir CEO Irfan Ali Rizvi, Cantonment Board Korangi Creek CEO Faisal Wattoo, CBF Additional CEO Zameer Hussain, Cantonment Board Manora CEO Javed Ali, and Deputy CEO Hassan Abbas warmly received the chief guest on his arrival at the ceremony.
The ceremony began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, and was presided over by Malir Cantonment Board’s Additional CEO Dr. Rizwan. CBC teams received trophies for winning the cricket and football tournaments. CBC players were also awarded medals in recognition of their outstanding performances.
The Karachi Region Sports Competition 2026 was organised by the ML&C Department, in which teams from Karachi region’s cantonments actively participated. Besides cricket and football, snooker, chess, badminton, table tennis and tug of war were also part of the tournament.
