CBC deploys 1600 field staff with over 145 trucks, heavy machinery for Eid-ul-Azha
Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) has made elaborate arrangements to facilitate Clifton Cantonment residents on Eid-ul-Azha, which include the establishment of “Sacrificial Camps” and the deployment of more than 1600 field staff with over 145 trucks, other vehicles and heavy machinery for the safe disposal of offal.
On the special directives of CBC CEO Mohammad Omar Farooq Ali Malik, a centralized control room has been set up, while CCTV cameras have also been stalled at various places to ensure effective monitoring of all the operations. This year the CBC is monitoring Eid-ul-Azha operations through advanced digital GPS system to ensure efficient monitoring of cleanliness and other operational activities.
In the Sacrificial Camps, tents, tables, chairs, mats as well as iron poles to tie sacrificial animals and other basic facilities are available. While CBC staff is also deployed at the camps to facilitate residents.
CBC has made special arrangements for the safe disposal of offal, which also include the sprinkling of limestone and spray of insecticides at the offal collection and sacrifice sites.
Residents are urged to cooperate with CBC field staff to keep Clifton Cantonment clean. CBCare and Control Room will operate round the clock to facilitate residents and address their complaints.
