CBC CEO stresses importance of ‘Resident-First’ approach in urban development
Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) CEO Mohammad Omar Farooq Ali Malik, while formally announcing the completion of the Arterial Roads Development Project in a statement published in CBC’s newsletter, described modern infrastructure as the “silent backbone” of a thriving community.
He emphasised that urban development with a “Resident-First” approach prioritises human experience, community connection and quality of life.
Reaffirming his commitment to providing modern road infrastructure in the Clifton Cantonment, he shared that work on 15 additional major roads and connecting streets has already begun.
It is worth mentioning here that in the first phase, work on five major roads has been completed which include Khayaban-e-Bahria, Khayaban-e-Shujaat, 26th Street, Khayaban-e-Ittehad and Commercial Avenue.
Farooq Malik stated that CBC is dedicated to achieving sustainable results, while maintaining proactive communication and minimising inconvenience during development activities.
He also announced the launch of a CBC Volunteer Programme, which will engage responsible community members and youth to support the effective implementation of CBC’s vision. Interested individuals are encouraged to contact the CBC CEO office.
