Extensive fumigation campaign underway in Defence, Clifton
Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) has announced a fumigation schedule for Defence and Clifton to prevent the spread of mosquitoes, flies and other disease-carrying insects, protecting residents from illnesses such as malaria and dengue.
Fumigation activities are being carried out according to an area-wise plan. However, in case of unfavourable wind conditions, fumigation on that particular day will be cancelled and rescheduled for another day.
The entire operation will be monitored by CBC Public Health Officer, Muhammad Farooq.
