CBC installs new LED streetlights, poles on Clifton Cantonment’s major roads
The Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) has installed new LED streetlights to replace old and faulty lights on Clifton Cantonment’s major roads. In addition to replacing the streetlights, CBC’s Emergency Response Team has overhauled the wiring, painted the poles and strengthened their foundations while ensuring high-quality work.
New LED lights and poles have also been installed at locations where there were previously no streetlights.
The roads where the new streetlights have been installed include Khayaban-e-Badar, Khayaban-e-Badban, Khayaban-e-Hilal, Khayaban-e-Muhafiz, Khayaban-e-Mujahid, Khayaban-e-Muslim, Khayaban-e-Rahat, Khayaban-e-Sehar, Khayaban-e-Shahbaz, Khayaban-e-Shaheen, Khayaban-e-Shamsher and Saba Avenue.
The new streetlights feature an automatic switching system that turns the lights on and off at designated times, helping conserve electricity. In addition to ensuring safer travel at night, these modern streetlights will help prevent accidents and deter crime.
CBC is actively working under the guidance of CEO Mohammad Omar Farooq Ali Malik to ensure a safe and pleasant environment while providing state-of-the-art civic facilities to the residents of Clifton Cantonment.
