Khayaban-e-Muslim’s milling work completes from Khayaban-e-Hafiz to Khayaban-e-Shaheen
Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) has launched the reconstruction of Khayaban-e-Muslim under the ongoing road infrastructure development project. In this regard, milling work from Khayaban-e-Hafiz to Khayaban-e-Shaheen has been completed.
The reconstruction of other important roads is also progressing at an accelerated pace and is expected to be completed soon. In this connection, carpeting work on eight roads has also been completed, including Khayaban-e-Hilal, Khayaban-e-Muhafiz, Khayaban-e-Badban, Khayaban-e-Sehar, Khayaban-e-Badar, Khayaban-e-Shahbaz, Khayaban-e-Shaheen and Saba Avenue.
Meanwhile, road construction and beautification work on Khayaban-e-Ghazi, including lane marking and the construction of footpaths, has also been completed.
Under CBC CEO Mohammad Omar Farooq Ali Malik’s leadership, quality of work, its timely completion and that residents do not face any inconvenience is being ensured.
This road infrastructure initiative goes beyond carpeting. It also includes reconstruction of footpaths, tree plantation along greenbelts, road renovation and beautification, lane marking and other modern road-building measures.
In the first phase, five roads in DHA—Khayaban-e-Bahria, Khayaban-e-Shujaat, Khayaban-e-Ittehad, 26 Street and Commercial Avenue—were successfully reconstructed.
The construction of high-quality roads has been widely appreciated by the residents of Clifton Cantonment.
