CBC takes effective measures to deal with possible rains this week
Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) has taken effective measures to deal with possible rains this week. CBC has appealed to Clifton Cantonment residents to take safety precautions and stay away from electric poles and other hazardous places during rains.
Residents can approach the head of their area’s Emergency Response Team (ERT) for any rain-related complaints. Complaints can also be lodged through CBC’s Virtual Office (24/7) and the CBCare app. In case of any suggestions or concerns that remain unaddressed through these channels, residents may WhatsApp the CBC CEO at 0314-1119150.
A rain emergency is in place at CBC, and its staff, under the leadership and guidance of CEO Mohammad Omar Farooq Ali Malik, are on alert to ensure quick drainage of rainwater and prompt action on residents’ complaints.
The Meteorological Department has forecast intermittent thunderstorms with gusty winds in Karachi and various other parts of Sindh on March 25–26 and 28–29. There is also a chance of hailstorms at some locations.
