Carpeting work at Khayaban-e-Shahbaz, other major roads in full swing
The Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) has accelerated the carpeting work on Khayaban-e-Shahbaz, Khayaban-e-Sehar, Khayaban-e-Badban, and other major roads.
The roads currently under reconstruction in the current phase of CBC’s infrastructure development initiative include Khayaban-e-Shahbaz, Khayaban-e-Shaheen, Khayaban-e-Sehar, Khayaban-e-Badar, Khayaban-e-Hilal, Khayaban-e-Badban, Khayaban-e-Muhafiz, Saba Avenue, Khayaban-e-Ghazi, Khayaban-e-Muslim, Khayaban-e-Mujahid, and Khayaban-e-Shamsher.
As in the first phase, under the directives and guidance of CBC CEO Mohammad Omar Farooq Ali Malik, high-quality work, timely completion of the project, and minimal inconvenience to residents are being ensured.
In the first phase, five roads were completed which include Khayaban-e-Bahria, Khayaban-e-Shujaat, 26th Street, Khayaban-e-Ittehad, and Commercial Avenue.
This project is not limited to road carpeting; it also includes footpath construction, tree plantation in greenbelts, beautification works, and other modern road-construction techniques.
The high-quality reconstruction and renovation of roads is being widely appreciated by the residents of Clifton Cantonment.
