Carpeting of major roads enters final stage

Carpeting’s final stage at Khayaban-e-Hilal, other roads underway at a rapid pace

Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) is carrying out the reconstruction of various important roads at an accelerated pace. The initial phase of carpeting, which is called the base course binder, has been completed at Khayaban-e-Hilal, Khayaban-e-Badar, Khayaban-e-Muhafiz and a number of other roads.
Now the final stage of carpeting — final wearing course — is underway at a rapid pace and is expected to be completed soon. Meanwhile, base course binder work is also underway at an accelerated pace at Khayaban-e-Badban.
The reconstruction and renovation of these roads is expected to further improve traffic flow and enhance commuting convenience. As in the first phase, high construction standards and timely completion of the project will be ensured.
The successful execution of the first phase, marked by high quality and on-time completion, reflects CBC’s commitment to providing high-quality civic facilities to residents within its jurisdiction under the visionary leadership of CBC CEO Mohammad Omar Farooq Ali Malik.
In the first phase, the reconstruction and renovation of five major roads in DHA — including Khayaban-e-Bahria, Khayaban-e-Shujaat, 26 Street, Khayaban-e-Ittehad and Commercial Avenue — has significantly improved traffic flow and enhanced the overall beauty and infrastructure of the areas.
The ongoing road reconstruction and high-quality renovations are receiving great appreciation from residents.
