The Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) informs all residents that a major disruption in the water supply has occurred due to technical issues at the Dhabeji Pumping Complex. At approximately 3:45 PM on October 28, 2025, the K-Electric power supply to feeders KDA-2, KDA-6, K-III (4), and K-III (1) failed, resulting in the shutdown of all pumping operations from the 3rd, 4th, and K-II pump houses, and partial shutdown at the K-III pump house.
Current Pumping Status:
1. Gharo (GK): 08 pumps operational
2. K-II: 02 pumps operational
3. K-III: 03 pumps operational
Additionally, the Rising Main Line No. 5 has burst at two locations, further impacting the water supply network. Repair and restoration work is already in progress; however, due to the scale of the damage, water supply is expected to remain disrupted for approximately 72 hours.
Our technical team is working in close coordination with K-Electric to expedite power restoration at the affected feeders and resume normal pumping operations at the earliest. Simultaneously, maintenance crews are engaged in repairing the damaged pipelines to ensure the smooth restoration of water supply.
Residents are kindly requested to use water judiciously and avoid wastage during this period. CBC sincerely regrets the inconvenience caused and assures all residents that every possible measure is being taken to restore full operations as quickly as possible.
