In compliance with the directives of CEO Mohammad Omar Farooq Ali Malik, the Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) Food Control Team conducted a detailed inspection of food outlets located in Khadda Market, Phase V.
The inspection aimed to ensure that all eateries and food vendors operating within the jurisdiction adhere to the highest standards of food safety and hygiene, as mandated by the CBC Food Act of 1996.
During the inspection, the CBC team focused on the following key parameters:
1. Hygiene and cleanliness of food preparation areas, equipment, and serving staff.
2. Verification of CBC-issued Food Trademarks to confirm the legality and registration of each outlet.
3. Medical certification of food-handling staff, ensuring all employees are medically fit to work in food service environments.
All evaluations were carried out strictly in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) established under the CBC Food Act. The CBC remains committed to safeguarding public health by enforcing food safety regulations and promoting a culture of hygiene and compliance among local businesses.
